About Me
I grew up in southern Indiana in a small rural town, in a county that is 90% forrest. My parents are artists, my dad a blacksmith and my mom a fiber artist/photographer. I diligently applied myself because I knew I needed those good grades to earn grants/scholarships for college, however being dyslexic my road to those good grades was a bit rougher than it was for others.

About
What I can bring to the WJUSD Board of Trustees
I will be to bring a strong voice for ALL students who are sometimes overlooked in discussions of WJUSD board decisions, creating a more equitable learning environment.
I will advocate for arts education. As lifelong artis, and know visual and performing arts enrich the individual student, the school community, and Woodland as a whole.
I will strive to ensure that students feel safe and accepted in our schools. Acceptance and safety will not only help students thrive in their education, it will help them thrive in our community.
